Baxter appeared at his foster home with a black tar-like mark across his side and hip, and limping, the summer of xxxx. The scars have since healed and he's just waiting to be accepted into his FURever home!
Baxter, with his adorable under bite, is a very affectionate, high energy Parson Russell Terrier who, at times, can be very protective of his foster family, placing his 10 pound self between his humans and much larger dogs in his foster home that he sees as a potential threat. But on the positive side, he gets along with just about everyone and almost always backs down! Some gentle, consistent corrections can remedy this protective behavior.
Baxter LOVES to play! He is masterful at sneaking in the house and darting around so that he can lick, lick, lick and love love love his people!
Baxter lives in his foster home with CATS!
Baxter is approx. 3-4 years old and needs an active but stable FURever home where he can feel safe and secure and be taught appropriate manners of a young gentleman!
Baxter is currently living in a Foster Home. We will need at least 24 hours notice if you would like to meet this dog.
