Trisco will be 2 years old in December xxxx. This little guy came from a very negative, dysfunctional and violent background. Because he was crated for up to 10 hours a day and not socialized or exercised, and was physically abused by the "man" and even the small children, it is best that he be in a quiet home. He is in a foster home with 5 children and is trusting and affectionate, as long as the children are calm, quiet and well behaved. He must have a fenced yard and he is being leash trained and house trained. He rides well in a vehicle and allows strangers of all ages, shapes and sizes, to pick him up. This little guy wants so much to lay in your lap, be loved and be safe. Trisco is neutered and current on shots. 10/14/12 Update: Trisco's been sleeping in the children's beds at night at his foster home and spent an afternoon playing with 13 other dogs in a yard at our Ranch. He's doing fantastic! 12-21-12 Update: Trisco has been living at our Ranch and is doing well with the exposure to daily visitors. He has made soooo many positive leaps and bounds, but will be best in a home with a positive humane gentleness. He plays well with our other dogs and rides well in the car. He has soo much love to give! He loves to sleep in bed with you (doesn't do well in a crate because of past negative experiences). He is comfortable with male influences as long as they're sitting or laying down. He is very fearful of males standing or walking toward him (again, from past abuse). He is now comfortable around well behaved, gentle children of all ages. What a sweetheart. He loves getting in the middle of 6 dogs playing and chasing each other and loves to bit the backs of their legs! I promise, the extra time it takes to open your heart and home to this silky, sweet little boy, will be rewarded by the love he gives back to you! He has become a very special little boy who wants nothing else (and deserves) to be loved and cared for. TRISCO HAS COME SOOOOO FAR AND IS SO AFFECTIONATE AND LOVING. HE WOULD DEFINITELY BE A WONDERFUL COMPANION TO A FEMALE IN A QUIET HOME. AN EXPERIENCED PET OWNER (ESPECIALLY SPECIAL NEEDS OR ONE WHO HAS EXPERIENCED WITH NEGLECTED AND ABUSED DOGS), WOULD BE PERFECT (IN A PERFECT WORLD, OF COURSE).
